Our Approach: Why Us?

The Brain is a Work of HeART

More Than Therapy — We're On Your Team.

At our core, we are advocates — not just providers. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions because we know that every child and adult has a uniquely wired brain, with their own strengths, challenges, and story. That’s why we become part of your team, walking alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and purpose.

With deep expertise, advanced certifications, and a passion for lifelong learning, we’re here not just to treat, but to empower. Whether you're a parent navigating support for your child or an adult working toward clearer communication, we’re here to amplify your voice — and help you thrive.

Because communication is more than just words — it’s connection. And that’s where we begin.

OUR MISSION

Meet the Owner

Nicole Laino, MS, CCC-SLP, CBIS

Welcome! I’m Nicole, a licensed and ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing comprehensive speech therapy for children and adults. I hold a Master’s from New York University and a Bachelor’s from James Madison University. I’m trained in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) and the Orton-Gillingham approach, allowing me to support speech clarity and literacy development.

My holistic, personalized approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and extensive experience in medical rehab and pediatrics. I create supportive, empowering environments tailored to your unique needs, with flexible scheduling and telehealth options to fit your lifestyle.

I’m committed to compassionate, collaborative therapy that helps clients transform challenges into confidence and achieve meaningful progress. As a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and ASHA member, I bring both passion and expertise to every client’s journey.
